Shortly after the projection of Facehunger we met with Warsickle. He was quite "?inspired?" don´t know if it is a right word, but liked it and wished to make a new project with me. I don´t remmember the main reason why we decide to go for this, anyway it somehow happened. And here is the result. It´s Carnivora second project, after that Facehunger made purely by free and open source software. Yap... that´s it...

There are four characters available from this project. It is King, the protagonist, Sparkler, the flying scorpion lamp, Fungy, the mechanic mushroom land lamp and Lambo, the spaceship. They´re available in Blender character repository.

The explanation of how the Facehunger project was born. The scientific aspects and theories which led to creation of this music clip. Even though it´s difficult reading containing strictly academic ideas it is written in form of comics.

Let me share some feelings about Facehunger project making of. It is surely unforgetable experience due to barbarianism in which it has been made. When deeply scouting the .blend files, average Blender artist will surely get a long and deep depression. Blender Yoda would perhaps immediately snap his neck. It is a big, big mess where you can´t return to fix something just becase you get lost. As a first project i firstly realized how important right naming and keeping order is. Antoher lovely adventure was cloth simulation, when i, after five or six days of frustration, realized, that i´ve got 3 coats coliding with each other in same place. That explained the cache size (about3GB for 2 seconds). Due to that another nice episode of rendering overheating. Solved by building windbreakers, positioning fans and for the first time using so called "mozzarella cooling tehnique".
